 'Excite' Children's Service

On Saturday 7th June the children's team along with Christians Together in Dover will be hosting an Excite service aimed especially at primary aged children. The event will be at The Ark from 6:00-7:00 pm and include a puppet show, songs, prayer time, dance and refreshments.

Parents are welcome to use our coffee lounge where they can have a cup of coffee and a cake while the children are in the service if they wish to.

This is the first one and we hope of many to come. We would love to see you.

Quiz Night with Alan and Sandra Skene

On Tuesday 10th June from 7:30-9:30pm we will be having a quiz night with our missionary couple from Malawi, Alan and Sandra Skene. Come along and join us, free entry, no need to book just turn up for a fun night. The winning team will receive a Malawian gift.

Mission Month May

This month we are focusing on 'Mission,' both local and worldwide. We are called to be part of the 'Great Commission,' as Mark 16:15 tells us, 'Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to all creation.' 

Our sermons will be looking at mission in a variety of ways and each week we will be including a vision slot focusing on a particular mission theme, including worldwide and local mission. We will also have Hungarian visitors joining us.

Being fully effective in mission requires us to use the gifts God has given us to reach those people who do not yet know Him. Mission should extend to the whole of our lives and requires us to give. For some that will be time, others expertise or finance. During the month there will be the opportunity to give financially to mission with the aim to raise £10,000 by the end of May, We aim to do this by offering you the chance to buy a special ActionOverseas Pig for £100 each. We will also be producing a 'Mission Prayer Diary.'
