Guest Speaker........Nick Watson from Australia

On Sunday 9th August we have a guest speaker here at The Ark. Nick has been recognised as a Prophet by the Apostolic Church in Australia for more than 25 years. He has also written a book to equip the next generation in prophetic ministry and edify those in practice of this important gift.

Everyone welcome to come along and hear Nick speak on 9th August.

Burma Mission Trip

A team from The Ark including Eric, Carol and Rachel along with Glen, Bethany and Claire from the Porthleven Church in Cornwall will be travelling to Burma on Tuesday 7th July. 

It is a very significant trip as the team will be teaching on the Tenets of the Apostolic Church with the hope that the church in Burma will become an autonomous Apostolic Church.

During the trip the children will also receive English teaching and a reading scheme will be left with the children and staff for them to continue the things they have learnt. The books have been bought by the children from CJs Dance School who have supported the home since 2010.

Please pray for God's blessing on the trip and for the Holy Spirit to work in all they do. Photos will be posted throughout the trip on The Ark and ActionOverseas Facebook page to keep you all up to date.

Henry's Ordination

On Sunday 10th May there will be an Ordination and Dedication Service here at The Ark. Henry Coates will be ordained as a pastor, Pastor David Wade will be conducting the Ordination. During the morning Henry and Leanne's son Fabian will also be dedicated. 

After the service everyone is invited to stay for a bring and share lunch. Please come and share this special day with us all.

Centenary News

Next year marks 100years of the Apostolic Church in the UK. Many events will be held throughout the year including a baton relay which will pass between all the Apostolic Churches in the UK.  Easter Festival

We have an exciting Easter weekend here at The Ark. Please come along and join us. Our Easter Festival will be an opportunity for families to come and celebrate Easter together. Activities include a Treasure Trail about the story of Easter, refreshments, bouncy castle and drama activities. We would love to see you all.

Easter Weekend

Good Friday

On Good Friday we will be having a service here from 8:45-9:30, this will give everyone the opportunity to take part in the Walk of Witness which starts at 10:00am from the Town Hall. 

Easter Sunday

For those early risers there will be a Sunrise service at Dover Castle at 6.00am, celebrating the resurrection of Jesus together with other Christians from around Dover.

Here at The Ark a little later we will be sharing breakfast together from 9:30am. Our Celebration Service then starts at the usual time of 10:30 and finishes at 12:00. As well as a time of Worship and hearing from God's Word we will also be sharing from events held during the Easter Festival with drama and a video.
